Babylon Takes Over Again
Suggestions:
Draw a Picture of the Hanging Gardens of Babylon: No one knows how they looked but maybe like a ziggurat with plants - made of terraces stacked on on top of another. Trees shrubs and flowers were brought in from whole empire so it was a green emerald in the middle of the desert. Color a picture of how it might have looked.
Build a Babylonian Mountain Garden: Fill bucket with dirt. Add water and mix with hands to make clay dirt mixture. Sit for a day. Place a stiff piece of cardboard (3x size of bucket mouth) on top. Turn over and remove bucket. Pat dirt back into mountain shape. Sprinkle grass seeds all over the mountain. Press seeds into mountain side. Sprinkle some wild flower seeds on top. Keep in sun and water daily.
